Your Support Matters
Can a small group of determined volunteers convince the United States Government to deliver long-overdue benefits to hundreds of thousands of veterans?
Yes. We have done exactly that.
Through litigation, legislation, and education, Military Veterans Advocacy® has helped secure benefits for more than 90,000 Blue Water Navy veterans and hundreds of thousands of service members stationed in Guam, American Samoa, Johnston Island, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. We have also supported efforts that expanded benefits for millions exposed to radiation and burn pits.
But the work is far from finished.
Nearly 6,400 veterans die by suicide each year. We are actively supporting legislation that promotes non-opioid treatments for post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury. In partnership with the Benjamin Ware Legacy Fund, we have expanded our mental health initiatives through nature-based therapy, including our annual Veterans Get Outside Day.
Progress like this does not happen by accident. It happens because people choose to stand with us.
MVA’s volunteer Board of Directors contributes their time, talent, and financial support to drive this mission forward. Sponsorships and memberships make it possible for us to travel to Capitol Hill, pursue federal litigation, and advocate for policies that protect and expand the benefits veterans have earned.
When you become a supporter of Military Veterans Advocacy®, you are not simply making a donation. You are joining a movement committed to ensuring that no service member is denied the benefits or Constitutional protections they deserve.
We invite you to stand with us.
With gratitude,
John B. Wells
Commander, USN (Ret.)
Chairman, Military Veterans Advocacy®
